NOSSO DIRETOR DR. ROBERTO COHEN É PATROCINADOR DOS FORMER AGENTS OF THE FBI FOUNDATION.

In 1937, at a time when iconic G-Men gained nationwide popularity in the wake of the historic gangster era, a group of retired FBI Special Agents met in New York City’s Lincoln Hotel to discuss the creation of an organization that would preserve the mutuality of interests of the Agents, the memories of pleasures enjoyed and adversities shared.” The Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI was formed that year as a fraternal, educational, and community-minded organization composed of former FBI Special Agents who had served with fidelity, bravery, and integrity in defense of America. By the end of that year, the Society had 118 members and was eventually chartered as a membership, non-profit, tax exempt organization.

Today, we have approximately 8,500 men and women members, organized in eight regions, with 120 chapters. We are an inclusive organization and, in addition to fellowship, we offer a variety of services and benefits to our members. The Society helps members to network in many ways, via local chapter meetings, yearly conferences, access to local HR 218 qualification shoots, training, and member directories. We communicate with members through the Grapevine magazine, the Society Scoop weekly newsletter, the Washington 411 blog, online forums, emails, and mailings, as well as our website.
